It’s imperative that the senior leadership team and Governors of an academy trust receive timely, accurate financial information, so they can assess performance compared to budget and be fully informed to make the best decisions for the trust.

A member of our team has previously worked as a school business manager and this insight means we are ideally placed to appreciate the difficulties in running an academy’s finances. We provide a wide range of ad hoc and regular services to clients to help them with their day to day accountancy needs. We have experience in working with all of the major academy accountancy software packages, including PS Financials, FMS and Civica.

Our Services include:

  • Help to set up a management accounts template to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided to SLT and Governors
  • Cover for key Finance staff due to sickness, maternity etc.
  • Financial health checks
  • Ad hoc visits to assist with general accounting issues, such as control accounts and problems with bank reconciliations etc.
